A pool is only as good as what surrounds it. On this Hampton, NH property, we rebuilt the backyard around the pool itself, starting with a full stone veneer that gave the home's exterior a more finished, cohesive look from the ground up. Natural boulders and slab granite steps were set into the property's slope, creating a grade transition that feels intentional rather than engineered, while opening up easy movement between the upper yard and the pool patio below.

The pool patio itself was rebuilt with new coping and a durable hardscape surface designed to handle constant foot traffic, splash zones, and everything that comes with a family that actually uses their pool. Proper drainage was built in throughout the project, so water is directed away from the house and patio rather than pooling where it shouldn't. Between the stonework, the regraded slope, and the finished pool surround, the whole backyard now reads as one connected space, built for the water, not just around it.
