J.L. Young Landscapes is owned and operated by Joe and Katie Young. Joe has 25 years of experience in landscape construction, masonry, design, and softscape — he started working with stone at 14 and went on to earn a degree in Environmental Horticulture from the University of New Hampshire. A full stack design-build company serving the coastal towns of Southern Maine and New Hampshire. What started as a small family run business in 2019 quickly grew into a full-scope design and construction company, but the high standard has (and never will) changed. We still take on every project as artisan craftsmen: detail-obsessed, uncompromising, and unwilling to call a job done until it's right.

Our team brings decades of combined experience in landscape design, masonry, and horticulture, including in-house designers with a background in environmental horticulture from the UnH. Every crew member is trained to our standard, not just industry standard.
